Here are several 1/12 scale models of machine shop tools from the late 1800s. I purchased these as unfinished aluminum, brass, and steel casting sets from a great company called PM Research. These machines would have been found in metal or woodworking shops and were driven by an overhead shaft with belting. The source of power was initially steam or water but later electrical motors took over that job. All the appropriate parts move on these models just as the originals.
