Sternwheeler Steamboat

This is a 1/80 scale sternwheel steamboat model. Although the first sternwheelers were invented in Europe, they saw the most service in North America, especially on the Mississippi River. There they transported goods and people on the mighty river from New Orleans to St. Louis. This wooden model is equipped with motorized paddlewheel, full lighting, and computer controlled sounds for steam engine, whistle, boarding call, and dixieland music. Some 30 scale figures help to bring the scene to life.
